The Action Assembly brings together Youth Leaders (Grades 6 through 12) to propose real solutions to preserve the Indian River Lagoon. Students will have a chance to use their voices and make a difference in the Indian River Lagoon.
This assembly is open to youth in grades 6 - 12 who live, study, work, or enjoy spending time outdoors and in Florida's natural spaces. Any student interested in conservation, science, and enacting change is welcome to join and participate in the Youth Action Assembly.
You don’t need a science background. You don’t need prior activist experience. You do need to care about where you live and be willing to work alongside others who feel the same. Whether you’re a reader, a surfer, an artist, an athlete, or someone who has simply noticed that something feels wrong with the water — this assembly was built for you.
