DID YOU KNOW?
In the world of beer, many styles of beer are obscure and rarely brewed or brewed only in specific regions. Some examples include:

Sahti (Finland)

  • Origin: Traditional Finnish farmhouse beer.

  • Profile: Brewed with juniper berries and branches, giving resinous, herbal flavors.

  • Notes: Often unfiltered and rustic, cloudy appearance

 

Kvass (Eastern Europe)

  • Origin: Russia and surrounding countries.

  • Profile: Made from rye bread, low alcohol, slightly sour and malty.

  • Notes: Sometimes flavored with fruits like raisins or berries

Adambier (Germany)

  • Origin: Dortmund, centuries-old style.

  • Profile: Dark, sour, hoppy ale aged in oak barrels.

  • Notes: A hybrid of old ale, altbier, wild beer, and barleywine. Very few modern examples exist
