Summer Camping 101 with Kerri and Ferruccio

Offered Mondays and Fridays starting Monday June 8th through Friday August 21st

Come to one or come to them all!

Learn to:

● Pitch and take down a tent

● Forage for fire wood

● Build a fire

● Identify native and invasive plant and animal species

● Learn some of the ways to take care of Mother Earth

● Take a short hike

Drop off 9:00am at Donald MacDonald Campground on Roseland Rd. and pickup at Dale Winbrow Park at 3:00pm

Program is $30/student and is open to 1st through 5th graders (10 student maximum per day)

Kindly wear closed-toe shoes and bring:

● A bagged lunch

● A water bottle

● Sunscreen

● Binoculars (optional)

A healthy snack will be provided
