VISIT FLORIDA | HURRICANE MILTON RECOVERY RESOURCES

Hurricane Milton
Recovery Resources

VISIT FLORIDA stands with our Partners who have been impacted by Hurricane Milton and are committed to supporting the recovery of the affected destinations, while promoting the areas that are open for business now.

We want to remind you that social media will play an important role in our efforts. We encourage you to use the hashtag #LoveFL in your social posts and tag VISIT FLORIDA. This will assist with our team's assessment of Florida's recovery progress, and we may also use this content on our own channels.

As the state begins to assess the damage from Hurricane Milton's impact, we'd like to encourage you to review the available recovery resources.

Business Damage Assessment Survey
If your business suffered any physical or economic damage from Hurricane Milton, please be sure to complete the Business Damage Assessment Survey from FloridaCommerce. Survey responses will allow the state to expedite Hurricane Milton's recovery efforts by gathering data and assessing the needs of impacted businesses.

TAABF Helping Hospitality Hurricane Urgent Aid Relief Grant
In the wake of the Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton crisises, The Above and Beyond Foundation's Urgent Aid Grant Program awards $500 grants to hospitality industry workers that have gone above and beyond but have been affected by the recent hurricanes and flooding. Up to 10 people may be nominated per hotel/business.

Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program
FloridaCommerce activated the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program, making $50 million available for businesses impacted by Hurricane Milton.

Activate Hope Program
Serving as the emergency response arm for the Hope Florida initiative, Activate Hope pulls together the private sector, nonprofits, and government resources to help Floridians get back on their feet following a natural disaster. Activate Hope helps connect Floridians with outside resources to provide food, household goods, home repairs, and more.

Private Sector Hotline
We encourage our partners to share business open/close status reports and any unmet needs they may have via the Private Sector Hotline at 850-815-4925, open daily 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or by email at esf18@em.myflorida.com.
