UNITED WAY OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY | GIVING THANKS & GIVING BACK

Dear Community Champion,

As we gather around the dinner table this Thanksgiving, we’re reminded of the countless families in our community who struggle to make that moment a reality. For many ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households, dinner time can be a reminder of hardship rather than comfort.

At United Way, we’re working tirelessly to change that—ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry, not just during the holidays but every day. From food distribution programs to community drives, your support has been the cornerstone of this mission.

This year, because of you:

  • 🍽️ Hundreds of meals were served to local families in need.
  • 🥫 Food pantries were stocked through generous donations.
  • 💛 Hope was restored to those struggling with food insecurity.

We are so thankful for the compassion and generosity of this community. You’ve not only supported us—you’ve stood with your neighbors in their time of need. Together, we’ve transformed lives, one meal at a time.

This Thanksgiving, let’s continue that tradition of giving. With your support, we can ensure that every family can sit down to a warm meal, knowing they are cared for and supported. Please consider making a donation today.

From all of us at United Way of Indian River County, we wish you a season of blessings, gratitude, and togetherness. Thank you for making a difference in our community.

With gratitude,

Meredith Egan

Chief Executive Officer

P.S. Every dollar donated helps us provide meals, support programs, and bring hope to ALICE families. Together, we can make a lasting impact
