May Volunteer Opportunities

Happy National Volunteer Week! Thank you to our incredible, dedicated, and hardworking volunteers. You embody MRC's mission every day, and our work would not be possible without you!

MRC kicks off May with First Friday Litter Patrol! Help us beautify our campus by keeping it free of litter and debris.

Our mangrove workshops are a hands-dirty and feet-wet, fun opportunity to help care for thousands of young mangrove trees in our state-licensed nurseries.

Remember to bring gardeners gloves, sun protection, and your reusable water bottle, and wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet and dirty.

Tabling Opportunities

Tabling events involve educating people about MRC's mission and projects, answering questions, and selling merchandise. Tabling opportunities will be done together with an MRC staff or board member.

Become an MRC Greeter!

Shifts are available between 9am-1pm Tuesday-Saturday.

Greet and educate visitors, answer questions about the Indian River Lagoon and the Lagoon House, and assist with Lagoon Lounge operations. MRC staff will always be on-site!
