MARINE RESOURCES COUNCIL | NOVEMBER 2025 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Hello Marine Resources Council Volunteers!

With just a week to go until November, we wanted to share some opportunities to get outside, enjoy the cooler weather, and learn more about our upcoming projects. Check out the following volunteer opportunities and feel free to respond to this email with questions, comments, or simply to introduce yourself!

November 7th - First Friday Litter Sweep

November 8th - Thousand Islands Fest: Tabling

November 14th - Mangrove Workshop: Palm Bay

November 22nd - Mangrove Workshop: Sebastian

Nice to Meet You!

You might be noticing that the volunteer newsletter announcements are coming from a new email. My name is Brooke Blosser, and I started in mid-October as the Science Communications and Outreach Coordinator. Prior to joining the Council, I was based in Charleston, South Carolina! I'm looking forward to connecting in person and learning about your passion for the Lagoon.

Annual Membership Meeting

In addition to our exciting volunteer opportunities for this month, the Council's annual membership meeting is quickly approaching! In late November, members will gather at the Lagoon House in Palm Bay to learn about upcoming projects, hear from the Board of Directors, and mingle with Lagoon lovers. If you are not currently a member of the Marine Resources Council but you would like to join us to receive your invitation to our annual member meeting, you can join by making a donation of $25 or more at the link below.

Become an Annual Member of the Marine Resources Council

Whether you are a member or a volunteer, we can't thank you enough for your support of the Lagoon and the Marine Resources Council!

Yours in stewardship,

Brooke Blosser
