What’s Running Amuck in the Lagoon and St. Sebastian River

Dr. John Trefry, Professor Emeritus, Florida Institute of Technology, will give a presentation at the Friends of St. Sebastian River May General Meeting on sediments and nutrients that have accumulated in the River and the Indian River Lagoon. Dr. Trefry was a teacher of chemical oceanography and studied sediments in the Lagoon and tributaries to help determine sources of nutrients and how muck contributes to the problem. The FSSR meeting is Tuesday, May 27th, 6pm at the North Indian River County Library, 1001 Sebastian Blvd. in Sebastian and all are welcome to attend.
