The IRL Aquatic Preserves plays an important role in the Indian River Lagoon basin(s). This presentation features highlights of the research, monitoring, and stewardship programs of Florida Department of Environmental Protection - Indian River Lagoon Aquatic Preserves. Learn about our team, projects, mission, and jurisdiction.

Matthew R. Anderson is the Indian River Lagoon Aquatic Preserves Manager in the office of Resilience and Coastal Protection at Florida Department of Environmental Protection. He has been with FDEP for 15 years, and his research focuses on bivalves and birds.
