Description
As a way to help grow a more diverse and robust workforce on the Space Coast, the local chapter of Women In Defense is inviting members of the business community to participate in an interactive panel discussion with weVENTURE coaches and IGNITE 360 business mentoring program participants.
WIDSC Chapter President Inga Young from 8-koi will be joined on the panel by Wendy Romeu from Alluvionic, Sirena Hendrickson from ATRAX Technologies, and Josette Roach from Larsen Motorsports. Former weVENTURE Executive Director Beth Gitlin from BJG Global Consulting is the moderator.
“This panel discussion is a great compliment to the STEM scholarships we award,” says Inga. “Funding continuing education is only the first step to supporting women in their pursuit of careers in the national defense and security sector. We also need to make sure that aspiring professionals and entrepreneurs are connected to experienced leaders in their chosen fields, so they can start to build their networks and learn about industry standards with purposeful guidance.”
