Halloween Costume Swap
Saturday, October 14th — 12:00 PM
Bring your gently used costumes to the Main, Brackett, or North County Libraries and receive swap tickets to use at the event. Costumes of all sizes are welcome.
Rules:
1. Costumes will be accepted from October 1 - October 13, 2023.
2. Costumes and accessories of ALL sizes are welcome.
3. All costumes must be in clean and wearable condition with no rips, stains, or tears unless they are part of the costume.
4. Those swapping costumes will receive an orange COSTUME swap ticket when they drop off their costume. Costumes that come in multiple pieces will be treated as ONE costume and receive ONE costume swap ticket. The tickets can be redeemed beginning at 12pm on October 14th.
6. Those swapping accessories (hats, wands, crowns, wigs, jewelry) will receive ONE purple ACCESSORY ticket per item. The tickets can be redeemed beginning at 12pm on October 14th.
7. We reserve the right to decline donations that are not appropriate or in wearable condition.
8. The Swap is open to everyone beginning at 1pm. Swap tickets are not necessary. One costume/accessory per person in attendance during this time.

“Double, double toil and trouble Fire burn and caldron bubble. Eye of newt and toe of frog, Wool of bat and tongue of dog, For a Halloween costume that’s no trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.”
It’s the annual Costume Swap at Indian River County Library System. Easier than casting a spell or finding eye of newt. Just bring gently used Bat Men, Super Girls, cowardly lions, witches, ghosts or whatever happens to be collecting cob webs in your home. Receive a ticket to attend the Costume Swap event on Saturday, October 14th from noon to 1pm.
With that ticket you receive VIP access to the cream of the pumpkin crop.
From 1-3pm all others are welcome to browse the selection and take home this year’s alter ego. •
